Resource Information Center For the Helpless
.
R.I.C.H.(Resource Information Center for the Helpless), received it's, Articles of Incorporation in 2011, from the State of Michigan. Since 2007, R.I.C.H. has been on a mission of "helping people find help.”
We are in the beautiful Downriver, City of River Rouge, MI. Centrally located and easily accessible via the newly remodeled, Jefferson Avenue Bridge, (opening August 2016), Schaefer/Coolidge Hwy, and the I-75 Freeway.
The staff at R.I.C.H. are a group of dedicated volunteers, which consist of people whose passion is helping others. We also enjoy an, on-call case manager, client advocate, and legal adviser.
The Center has vast resources in the Downriver communities, but also connect with other agencies in Detroit, and outlying areas.
The “R.I.C.H. Kids”, are an offspring of the R.I.C.H. organization. Once labeled a “R.I.C.H. Kid”, they proudly use this title for life. This group is made of hardworking, multi-talented, tenacious individuals, who volunteer within and outside of the center.
Those who join us to gain Community Service hours, always stay on to give a hand up to another troubled person.
For their generous efforts, the youth are taken on outings, as numerous pictures will show. These trips allow interaction with other cultures, and show them a whole world of opportunities that exist.
We thank you for taking the time to read about us, and hope to connect with you on all levels. Peace.
